@Cong Lu

Product designer / independent developer

I like to keep things organized, so I tend to turn experience into systems. I'm also not quite satisfied leaving ideas on static mockups—so I naturally use new tools like AI to gradually turn them into working interfaces. Bit by bit, I sort out the chaos, letting each idea become a genuinely usable product experience.

Experience

Four years in UI / product design, often joining 0-to-1 work: requirements, interaction design, and component systems across ToB, ToG, and ToC surfaces. I also ship the frontend—and now lean on AI and other new tools to turn ideas into product experiences people can actually use.

RAYWORLD Smart Medical Group

Shenzhen, Guangdong

Design Engineer

Full-timeMar 2025 — Present
  • Saw that the team's aging Vue stack was hard to maintain, proposed and led a frontend shift to React + Ant Design, and unified multi-surface standards and the engineering base.

  • Used an AI-native workflow with Cursor to implement UI, responsive layout, and multi-device adaptation, then pushed backend integration and functional testing—closing the loop from Figma to production-grade frontend.

  • Owned end-to-end design and frontend for family/enterprise device-repair mini programs, mobile/web sites, and the core medical admin system; rebuilt complex form flows and device-management interactions so the product stayed consistent and usable across terminals.

  • Built a Web/mobile design system and component library from scratch, mapping design tokens to Ant Design so design and engineering stopped drifting apart.

Tengyi Media Convergence

Kunming, Yunnan

UI Designer

Full-time2022.10 — 2024.07
  • Led government and enterprise digital programs—service mini programs, data dashboards, and Web admin UIs—so dense data and multi-level information stayed clear.

  • Built a Figma design system and component library for civic work: tokens, chart rules, and CSS naming that let several projects ship in parallel with better handoff.

  • Handled graphic work, including campaign posters and logos.

Qiming Psychological Counseling

Xiamen, Fujian

Product Designer

Full-time2021.06 — 2022.08
  • Designed the full interaction and visuals for a psychological-assessment mini program and an online counseling booking flow; used competitor research, surveys, and user needs to produce lo-fi wireframes and hi-fi interaction specs.

  • Set up mobile UI standards and base components from iOS / Material Design, unifying forms, assessment steps, and status feedback.

  • Designed campaign posters and event materials.

Education

Curiosity about the internet led me to study network technology in vocational school. That same curiosity carried into UI design at junior college, where my focus shifted from the technology itself to interfaces, experience, and visual expression. AI and other new tools are now part of how I work, helping me turn scattered ideas into experiences people can actually use.
